I have been looking on your website and I am enquiring now about whether you have researched anything on an amorphous silicon solar panel – thin film – which is a flexible one made by Unisolar and sold in Australia by Skyshades Australia and its distributors. I am wondering if it would have the same output energy as the thin film amorphous silicon by Kyocera?

I live in country northern NSW.

Would you be able to assist me on this enquiry?

Thanks for your email.

I assuming you are referring to the Kaneka amorphous silicon solar panels. Since both the UNI-SOLAR amorphous silicon solar panels and the Kaneka amorphous silicon solar panels are made with the same solar photovoltaic technology they should have similar performance characteristics - as compared to other solar technologies (like crystalline silicon). However, we do not have the UNI-SOLAR panels installed at the Solar Centre and have not carried out any specific research on them.

Others may have additional thoughts on this.
