Solar powered bore pump and water purification unit

Solar bores have long been used throughout remote Australia as the most economical and reliable way to pump groundwater.

This plant also incorporates a reverse osmosis filter that can produce drinking water from a highly mineralised aquifer.

The bore pump and brackish water unit can provide up to 7,500L of purified water per day.

Backup batteries allow the unit to continue to produce water through the night and in low solar conditions.

Reverse osmosis filters use pressure to force mineralised or contaminated water through a membrane that removes impurities. The purification system included in this Trunz unit also includes a large particle filter and a carbon filter to remove smells.

The Trunz Water System with the array and tracker is designed as a discrete unit, and is simple to install.

Trunz is a manufacturer of water treatment and purification systems based in Switzerland. Trunz is distributed in Australia by Novasys.
